Aron Lentsch

Company founder and CEO

Aron started his career in European Space Agency ESA/ESTEC as young graduate, spent two years at the Japanese National Aerospace Laboratory NAL (today JAXA) and was working since then at the launcher directorate of the French Space Agency (CNES). He worked on various aspects of future space transportation systems, ranging from system design, structure, aerodynamics and most of all propulsion systems (scramjet and rocket). 

Convinced that private, commercial space flight holds the most exciting potential and brightest prospective for the future, Aron decided to found the Orbspace company in summer 2006.

Dr. Klaus Legner

Aerospace Medicine

Klaus started his career as flight surgeon at the Austrian Air Force medical care center. He worked as flight surgeon at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Kennedy Space Center, ESA's European Astronaut Center in Cologne and is responsible for flight safety and security training in the Austrian Airlines.

His professional activities and expertise cover the medical evaluation, assistance and crew support of astronauts for launch & landing operations and post-landing crew support. Klaus gives lectures in space medicine and provides scientific consulting for medical aspects such as for ESA's Aurora program on interplanetary long-duration missions and he also performced a range of scientific activities on space medicine.

Klaus is a passionate private pilot, diver as well as mountaineer and received special medical training for diving and hyperbaric medicine as well as mountain and expedition medicine.

Rafael Moro Aguilar

Space Law and Commercialization

The United Nations (UN) Office for Outer Space Affairs (OOSA) was one of the first steps in the professional career of Rafael. He regularly returns to the UN meetings such as conferences or the regular legal subcommittee meetings of UNCOPOUS as advisor to the Spanish Government. Further on he has been legal consultant (sole practitioner), collaborating with a number of law firms and companies such as Ibersat. He gives lectures such as international space law and telecommunication and is author of a range of articles and a book (forthcoming) on international space law.

In addition Rafael worked in general legal matters, drafting and translating contracts and legal documents, and researching and preparing legal reports on technology issues.
